Medieval Essentials I

Medieval Essentials I

Building on the foundational knowledge of astrology established in the Hellenistic period, Medieval Essentials I will take your interpretation skills to the next level by extending your concepts of signs, planets, houses, aspects, condition and cycles to applications beyond what is typically taught in foundational courses.

Based on the work of Sahl B. Bishr (9th Century), this course will extend the building blocks of the astrological language and apply it through the lens of a Medieval astrologer. Students will also develop knowledge of the use of Lots and Almutens for chart interpretation and identifying more specific significators of life topics.

This course requires High Beginner Astrological Knowledge.
