A lifelong student of astrology, Lori has a Professional Diploma of Astrology from Kepler College. A full time consulting astrologer since retiring from California State Polytechnic University, Lori also teaches astrology in her local community. Nicknamed Mama Loveshine because of her Sag rising optimism, she writes and posts on social media under the moniker @MamaLoveshine, publishing a bi-monthly horoscope column on Substack. She serves as the Vice President of Membership for the Kepler Astrologer Toastmasters Club and is also a Reiki Master, receiving her attunement in 2017.
