Sam Ogden is an undergraduate student in Classical Studies at Bard College in upstate New York. He began studying modern psychological astrology in 2004. In 2019, Sam embarked on a certification in ancient astrology with renowned astrologer Demetra George, an experience which inspired him to return to academia to study classical languages and civilizations.

Sam has been a hatha yoga instructor since 2011, combining his passion for mindfulness with hands-on work in nature. His dedication to sustainable living led him to apprentice and participate in construction projects across California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Rhode Island, and Virginia beginning in 2013. Since 2017, he has worked as a gardener and landscape labourer, planting perennial gardens and constructing patios, walkways, and stone walls.

Sam envisions establishing a center for astrological studies housed in a sustainably built earthen structure. This space will prioritize high-quality indoor air to support cognitive health. He is particularly committed to promoting ancient language literacy within the astrological community.
In his free time, Sam enjoys painting, exploring nature, cold plunging, and immersing himself in books. His unique blend of interests reflects his commitment to holistic learning and fostering community connection.
