Marsilio Ficino, a luminary of the early Renaissance in Italy, was an important translator and commentator of important texts from antiquity. Well-versed in astrology, medicine, and sympathetic magic, he was one of the founders of modern psychological astrology. This workshop will look at Book 3 of his Three Books on Life: “On Obtaining Life from the Heavens.” Using natal and electional astrological charts, Joseph will show the importance of Ficino’s work to each of us.
