This workshop is an introduction to the philosophy and practice of herbal Alchemy and the application of Astrology.
Using the three pillars—Astrology, Alchemy, and Theurgy—of the ancient Western esoteric tradition known as Hermeticism, we will examine how to make a true spagyric tincture. This workshop will help you include these arts in your personal practice.
Alchemy is far more than the transmutation of base metals into gold. It is also a good way to know oneself, to obtain physical health, emotional balance, mental expansion, and spiritual transcendence. An herbal spagyric is a simple, yet potent way to begin one’s Hermetic journey that anyone can do at home. This workshop will show you how to use: natal and medical astrology for finding what one needs support, electional astrology and the doctrine of signatures for finding the right herb and when to process it with planetary hours, alchemy for making the spagyric tincture out of the three principals, and theurgy for invoking the spiritual energies necessary for giving it an effective magical spark.
