  • Examine the role of sect, including diurnal and nocturnal charts and the planets’ conditions of rejoicing

  • Critically compare major house systems to help identify those more suited to regular use and others that are more situation-specific

  • Identify lunar phase relationships and apply their significance within natal chart interpretation

  • Study the lunar nodes and evaluate multiple interpretive frameworks for understanding their placement and function in the natal chart

  • Explore selected modern interpretive techniques, including interceptions and modern rulership schemes, in dialogue with traditional approaches

  • Synthesize planetary condition and chart patterns to identify dominant themes and overarching life narratives within the natal chart

By the end of RN102, students will understand the key areas of practice and debate surrounding the course topics, as well as the conceptual foundations of many specialized interpretive techniques.
