In this five-week course, students will learn to:

  • Compare the difference between natal astrology and horary astrology
  • Identify the key components of any horary delineation
  • Compare and contrast the various usage of the concept of radicality between different branches of astrology
  • Create a rubric for the examination of horary questions

Weekly topics include:

1.  Components of a horary reading; historical general astrology

  • Compare the difference between natal astrology and horary astrology · Identify the key components of any horary delineation · Compare and contrast the various usage of the concept of radicality between different branches of astrology · Create a rubric for the examination of horary questions · More introductory material.

2.  Relationships, Marriage, Conflict

  • Adjust the rubric you began to study last week as you learn to address relationship horaries · Review the use of separating and applying aspects as they apply to horary · Compare the logic for a “positive” relationship and a “negative” one

3.  Buy/Sell

  • Compare the use of the 1st and 7th houses in buy/sell vs. relationships · Consider the applications of 4th house and 10th house in their buy/sell context to their larger meanings

4.  Rumors

  • Contrast ancient and modern ideas about the 3rd house · Examine the reasoning within the rumors model

5.  Money and Jobs

  • Learn the historical context of the “employees” portion of the 6th house · Evaluate the possible uses of the 10th house · Evaluate the possible houses for money
