AstroMapping II: The Astrology of Local Space

When you can’t travel to the best location … bring the best location to you!

This course provides students with astrological tools that can enhance their life by exploring their personal local landscape. While Astro*Carto*Graphy examines the interaction of the natal chart and planetary lines of influence across the globe, local space astrology brings the focus close to home.

Prerequisite:

Completion of AM100: AstroMapping for Beginners, or studied Astro*Carto*Graphy previously. This course is not for the Beginner Astrologer.

Elements, Humors, Temperaments

The purpose of this course is to first, consider the extent to which temperaments were astrologically computed at all, and then to compare three systems of computing the temperament.

Students will also examine how the determination of temperament can be used to assess both lifestyle considerations, and remedy suggestions.

Prerequisites:

Basic astrological knowledge, as reflected in achievement of Kepler College Fundamentals Certificate or equivalent.

Solar Returns

Solar Returns, or “Revolutions,” is a forecasting technique based on the chart for the moment the Sun returns to the natal position at any year of inquiry. This predictive method has been used for centuries, with many interpretive techniques evolving from this system.

Prerequisites:

This is an Intermediate course. Knowledge of how to read a natal chart, chart aspects, and transits is essential.

Electional Astrology

Learn the practice of electing a special moment in time for various life events and activities, including the utilization of planetary hours to refine an election chart.

Prerequisites: 

Natal Astrology

  • Fundamentals (12 planets, 12 signs, 12 houses, and Ptolemaic aspects)
  • Know how to read an ephemeris
  • Quadrant house systems (Placidus, Regiomontanus, or Koch)
